These quick and easy Homemade Scones with Oat Flakes are subtly full oat goodness making them a bit healthier. And it makes a lovely pair with your morning cup of coffee.
Mix oat flakes, wheat flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Finely chop the butter in the flour mixture.Add milk and mix quickly to a sticky dough.Divide the dough into 4 parts, and with a little flour on the fingers it becomes less sticky. Place the breads on a plate with parchment paper. Pat dough about 1,5-2 cm thick.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 12-15 minutes, until golden brownBest eaten when still slightly warm, preferably with just butter or cheese with jam.Cuisine is inspiration!
